Alumny Association of the Lycée francais

English Version

The Alumni Association of the Lycée Français de New York / L'Association des Anciens du Lycée Français de New York (the AALFNY) operates independently of the Lycée and is run solely by volunteer alumni. Their mission is to bring together the larger community of current and former students, faculty, and staff. They share a same bilingual academic experience.
The AALFNY promotes interaction among the different members of the community through initiatives such as an online Newsletter/Bulletin de Liaison, an E-mail Directory and its related Find-a-Classmate service, and Class Reunions. The AALFNY supports the activities of the Lycée's Board of Trustees, faculty and students when and where appropriate.
Every 'ancien élève' is automatically an Alumnus or Alumna and therefore a member of the Association, and can freely partake of services of the association. Membership fee is $35 per year.
The AALFNY receives no financial support from the Lycée and teh association relies entirely on the voluntary time, energy, and financial contributions of its only constituency - the alumni.
The Association was incorporated in 1964 as a New York not-for-profit corporation.
