This French association of police officers and gendarmes, based in Bordeaux, is closely related to the New Yorker societies network. It was created by Laurent Juste shortly after 9/11, by solidarity towards the firemen and the police officers of New York. All the members are French but there are invited members who are American.
The will of the founder was to create a bond between France and the United States, to share their same love of their profession, even if they do not have the same way of doing it.
This association sends each year a report of its activities to the French Ministry of Internal Affairs and to the President of the Republic.

The principal activity is the organization of travels to New York for the commemorative ceremonies of 11/9. The search for financings passes in particular by the manufacture of commemorative escutcheons, the whole being used to pay the travels and the sheaves of flowers.

Cette association française de policiers et de gendarmes, basée à Bordeaux, est intimement liée au réseau associatif new yorkais Elle a été créée par Laurent Juste au lendemain du 9/11, par solidarité envers les pompiers et les policiers de NY. Tous les membres sont français mais il y a des membres invites qui sont américains.
La volonté du fondateur était de créer un jumelage entre la France et les Etats-Unis, pour partager leur même amour de leur profession, même s’ils n’ont pas la même façon de faire.
L’association envoie chaque annee un compte-rendu de ses activites à l’Elysée.

L’activité principale est l’organisation de voyages à New York pour les cérémonies commémoratives du 11/9. La recherche de financements passe notamment par la fabrication d’écussons commémoratifs, le tout servant à payer les voyages et les gerbes de fleurs.
